- Oh yeah and I did a wiring-metaphor language for .NET components while at MDL, see A Visual Dataflow Language Tightly Integrated with the .NET Environment | Mike Travers - Academia.edu
- Another reference point, Dave Levitt's Hookup, an early tool for doing real-time visual programming for music and animation. I built some components for this, including a robot blimp interface.
