  • Ten years later and things haven't advanced at all as far as I can tell. I'm still building tooling for class-based ontologies because that is what people understand and know how to work with. The semantic web remains a distant vision; scientific knowledge remains as un-integrated as ever.

    • Enflame is a visual query builder for a scientific graph knowledge base, using a Scratch-like blocks user interface. Developed by me under the auspices of the Parker Institute. hack
    • Parts of this have been released as the open-source library Blockoid.

      • Note: this uses Datomic Cloud which has some performance issues and apparently can't do queries against large tables at all.
