- Natural Language interfaces for scientific computing
- Abstract
- Previous work in end-user scientific computing has focused on manipulable visual representations of programs. LLMs technology provides an alternate path for non-programmers to engage with the complexity of scientific data. This talk will esplore the use of LLMs, ontologies, and domain-specific languages to support natural language queries, visualization, and general computing. Clojure's flexibility as back-end, front-end, and knowledge representation language is a key enabler.
