Huh that really resonates strongly with that Burroughs quote OGU vs MU. Minsky and Burroughs are pretty different minds (Burroughs hated scientists) but maybe they are on the same side in the larger spiritual war.
(p174) A long section on ethics, the problem of evil and whether it is a worse problem for standard theism or for pantheistic animism. The latter comes out ahead, since the world has multiple competing agencies (see OGU vs MU).
Some discussion of God as absolute ground of being vs. God as just one agent (being) among many. (see OGU vs MU). Ref to William JamesA Pluralistic Universe which sounds interesting.
